Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Topos stores when you connect a wallet, launch a place coin or trade. It sits alongside the Terms of Use.

1. What we never collect

We never ask for and never store private keys, seed phrases, passwords or custody of your funds. We do not run account sign-ups, and we do not request email addresses to use the launcher. Topos cannot move tokens out of your wallet.

2. What we store

Public wallet addresses; the acceptance record for these Terms (address, version, signature, nonce, domain, timestamp); launch metadata you submit (place key, name, region, coordinates, postal code and country, ticker, description, logo and links); trades, holder balances and comments read from the chain or submitted by you; and short-lived signature challenges that expire in five minutes.

3. Why we store it

To enforce one place per coin, to prove a wallet authorised a launch or comment, to render coin pages, holders and activity, to record that a wallet accepted these Terms, and to keep the service secure with basic rate limiting and abuse prevention.

4. On-chain data is public and permanent

Launches, trades, fees and balances live on Robinhood Chain. Anyone can read them through explorers, indexers and aggregators, and nobody — including Topos — can edit or delete them. Coin metadata is locked permanently once a coin goes live, so deletion requests cannot apply to it.

5. Third parties we call

Place search uses public geographic indexes (OpenStreetMap / Nominatim) and a curated celestial dataset. Charts and market data may be embedded from external explorers and aggregators. Your wallet provider, RPC endpoints, our hosting and our database provider process requests on our behalf. These parties may see your IP address and request metadata under their own policies.

6. Cookies and local storage

We use no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Local storage keeps your theme choice, your launch draft, and a note that your wallet already accepted these Terms so you are not asked to sign again. Clearing site data removes these.

7. Retention and security

Signature challenges are single-use and expire in minutes. Acceptance records and launch metadata are kept for as long as the coin exists, as they are part of the launch record. Access to our database is server-side only, protected by row-level security and service credentials that are never exposed to the browser.

8. Your choices and contact

You can stop using Topos and disconnect your wallet at any time. Off-chain data we control — such as a comment or an acceptance record — can be removed on request where no legal or anti-abuse reason requires keeping it; on-chain data cannot. Email hello@topos.fun for any privacy request.
